Dr. Weimin Xu, associate professor in Control Theory and Automation, head of
Detection Technology and Automation Device descipline in Key Lab of Martine
Technology and Control Engineering of Ministry of Communication, P. R. China, Shanghang Maritime University.
He has published over 50 papers, and got more than 20 patents issued.
He is now a graduate supervisor in subject of Detection Technology and
Automation Device. His current research interests focus on robust nonlinear
control methods (such as robust adaptive control, sliding mode control, and
learning control, etc.), electromechanical systems control and visual servo
control (such as visual servo control of overhead cranes, intelligent robots
control and synchronous control of multi-motor systems, etc.), RFID based
information technology with application in container vehicles and container
terminals, etc.
