Abstract
Because container vessels spend a significant amount of transportation time in ports, it is essential to improve the productivity of various handling activities at port container terminals. Furthermore, in order to modernize container terminals, new automated container handling facilities have been continuously developed and installed, which has opened up new research topics. This lecture introduces various decision-making problems and approaches to these problems related to optimizing the design and operation of container terminals. Basic analytical models and approaches to solve the models will be introduced to the audience. The current and future issues for researchers will be discussed at the end of the lecture.
Kap Hwan Kim is working at the Department of Industrial Engineering of Pusan National University.
He studied at the Seoul National University (Bachelor) and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Master, Ph.D.).
He was a visiting scholar at Purdue University, University of Montreal, Shanghai Maritime University, and Zhejiang University.
He was the director of the Institute of Logistics Innovation and Networking at Pusan National University and the president of the Korean Institute of Industrial Engineers.
His research is focused on the design and operational problems of container terminals.
He published many papers at international journals such as OR Spectrum, Flexible Services and Manufacturing Journal, Transportation Science, Transportation Research B, Transportation Research E, European journal of Operational Research, and so on.

港口物流大数据与人工智能。通过实际港口案例介绍大数据技术和运筹优化算法在港口物流中的应用,包括码头作业成本效率分析,自动配载系统,深度学习在港口OCR中的应用等,使学员理解相关理论在与实际问题结合中需要解决的问题,同时进一步理解港口物流相关业务和知识。
丁一 博士 副教授。研究方向是集装箱港口运作优化和信息系统,在该领域他发表了二十余篇学术论文,如Interfaces期刊论文(INFORMS),并且完成一本学术专著。主持了一项国家自然科学基金项目和多项上海市科研基金项目。作为项目经理,有十年的大型集装箱港口信息系统研发经验,研发的多个决策支持系统在集装箱港口企业顺利使用,目前正在参与洋山四期集装箱自动化码头信息系统构建等相关工作,相关成果获得中国航海学会科技进步一等奖,上海市科技进步三等奖,浦东新区科技进步一等奖等。丁一博士负责和完成了多个大型港口物流企业和政府的决策咨询项目,曾在泰兴港口管理局挂职锻炼,任沿江开发办副主任。汉堡大学信息工程学院客座教授,兼职博导,港口物流信息与运筹优化方向。
讲座3:地下集装箱物流系统及其集疏运协同运输组织

地下物流系统是指采用专用运输工具在大直径地下通道中实现全自动运输、装卸、分拣、配送等物流业务的系统。这将有效解决目前日益突出的土地资源矛盾、港城拥堵矛盾、物流运输矛盾、环境污染矛盾等。这里首先介绍国际上地下物流的发展情况,再介绍目前地下物流系统的运输模式,以及未来展望。
为适应日益增加的集装箱吞吐量,集装箱港口纷纷实现了自动化装卸,大幅提高了装卸效率。而由此引发的交通拥堵、港城矛盾、环境污染等问题严重阻碍城市发展。地下集装箱物流具有高效、绿色、节能的特点,将会解决港口集疏运发展不平衡问题。
地下集装箱物流系统拥有高速的运输通道,其与两端的效率及能力协同将促进整个系统的优势发挥。本报告详细介绍地下集装箱物流系统的布局、流程、运营,以及从系统论的角度分析地下集装箱物流“集运”、“疏运”、“通道”子系统的协同以及整体集疏运系统的协同。

梁承姬,女,70年生,博士,教授 硕士生导师,1992年毕业于大连理工大学应用数学系,1995年与1998年分别获得大连理工大学应用数学硕士学位和工程力学博士学位。
梁承姬教授从事专业为管理科学与工程,主要研究方向为港口物流运作优化与仿真模拟、自动化集装箱码头运作优化、地下集装箱物流系统运营分析、物流供应链系统优化。
目前承担国家自然科学基金面上项目"大型集装箱港口装卸设备系统运作耦合协调模型研究"、上海市科委重点项目《自动化集装箱码头复杂系统智能化装备协调运作关键技术研究》和上海市科委创新项目《地下集装箱物流系统运输组织研究》,曾主持完成国家自然科学基金面上项目"大型集装箱港口堆场系统分解-协调模型研究"、参与多项上海市科委项目"智能化码头自动导引车协同作业控制关键技术研究"、"新工艺下的集装箱港口资源分派及其新型实时监控技术研究"、"集装箱港口装卸作业链整体优化研究"等。
发表学术论文100余篇 ,SCI、EI检索论文15余篇,申请发明专利3项,授权实用新型专利1项。曾主持的《岸边集装箱起重机装卸操作关键技术研究及其推广"项目获港口科技进步二等奖。是顶级国际期刊Computers & Industrial Engineering(C&IE)的客座主编。目前与日本早稻田大学、韩国科学技术院、韩国釜山大学有密切的合作。
Doctor Chengji Liang is the SMU distinguished Professor of management science and engineering and one of the university master advisers. She graduated from Department of Applied Mathematics, Dalian University of Technology in 1992. She gained her master degree of applied mathematics in 1995 and the doctor degree of engineering mechanics in 1998 in Dalian University of Technology.
Doctor Chengji Liang's research and teaching interests are in port logistics operation optimization and simulation, automation container terminal operation optimization, underground container logistics system operation analysis, logistics supply chain system optimization.
Doctor Chengji Liang currently undertakes the National Natural Science Foundation project "Study on the Coupling Coordination Model of Large Container Port Handling Equipment System Operation", the Key Project of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality,"Key Technology Research on Intelligent Equipment Coordination Operation of Complex Container Terminal Complex System"and innovative project of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality "Research on Transportation Organization of Underground Container Logistics System", presided over the completion of the National Natural Science Foundation project "Research on Decomposition-Coordination Model of Large Container Port Yard System" and participated in a number of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality projects "Intelligent Terminal Automated Guide Vehicle" Research on key technologies for cooperative operation control, "containment of container port resources under new technology and research on new real-time monitoring technology", "integration research on container port loading and unloading operation chain", etc.
Doctor Chengji Liang has published more than 100 academic papers, and more than 15 papers in SCI and EI search. She has also applied 3 patents, been authorized 1 utility model patent. Her project "Research and Promotion of Key Technologies for Loading and Unloading Operation of Shore Container Cranes" won the second prize of Port Science and Technology Progress. She is the guest editor of Computers & Industrial Engineering (C&IE), the top international journal. Now she has the close cooperation with Japan's Waseda University, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and the University of Busan, South Korea.
