1. 课程介绍
This course on Internet of Things (IoT) is designed as an introduction to the topic, suitable for advanced undergraduates and graduates.
The goal of the course is to provide a theoretical and practical approach to IoT and its main challenges and opportunities. Specifically, we will pay attention to two fields of application (i.e., Smart Cities and Smart Healthcare).
From a practical perspective, students will be guided through practical exercises, which will allow them to work with data and to obtain conclusions about it. No previous knowledge about data analysis is required. However, students will need a basic background on programming and a computer to work during the practical sessions. Students will be allowed to use the programming language of their choice; however, the instructor will use R (which is recommended) and occasionally Python.
