3. 11/2012 - 07/2015 Graduate School of Management of Technology, Korea University, Associate Dean. The management of technology program supports a multi-disciplinary approach to innovation, management and technology, and prepares students to become an expert in the area of Business planning, R&D, and Entrepreneurship. I was in charge of the government initiative of developing the management of technology program in Korea University (11/2012 ~ 07/2015).
4. 08/2011 - 08/2012 Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia,  Visiting Professor.  During this period, I taught the courses about the optimization models and applications of discrete optimization, and conducted several research projects in collaboration with Professor Anming Zhang.
5. 11/2010 - 07/2012 Graduate School of Management of Technology, Korea University, Department Head. I was a founding head professor of the graduate school of management of technology by successfully securing annual funding of $1.2 million from Korean government.
6. 12/2000 - 8/2005  Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, National University of Singapore, Assistant Professor. As a faculty member of the department, I was awarded with several key research funding (total value of S$3.5 million) and also I won the prestigious engineering educator award, which is given to the best teaching in each department. I have been working closely with PSA, SIA and other multinational corporations on logistics and supply chain management. I am also invited to propose major funding proposals to the ministry of defense and other government bodies.
7. 12/2000 - 8/2005  The Logistics Institute of Asia Pacific, National University of Singapore, Research Faculty Member (Air Cargo Research Group). My research topics in the institute are 1) to analyze the Asia-Pacific air cargo network and its role in various modes of supply chain management (including long-term space allocations, revenue management, and booking of cargo space) as well as 2) to conduct research on issues related to airports, cargo facilities, and flow of material and information and 3) to evaluate airline planning and operations including passenger and cargo routings and re-accommodation
