Center Purpose
Marine Technology and Control Engineering Key Laboratory of Ministry of Transport combines the scientific and technological development with the needs of the shipping and transportation industry, and is characterized with its expertise in shipping information, shipping control and shipping simulation. It has formed three research directions which have significant influence in the transportation industry, including ship, port automation and network control, ship electric propulsion system and high power transmission control, shipping simulation and decision support.
Center Roles & Activities
To provide intelligent control technology for ships and port equipments, including unmanned ship, automated container terminal and so on.
To provide advanced control technology for renewable energy solutions for logistics equipment of ship and port.
To provide dynamic stability control solution for high-voltage & big-capacity marine electric drive system.
To provide dynamic detection and fault diagnosis technology for ship and port equipment.
To provide intelligent decision-making technology for navigation.
Center Objective
Marine Technology and Control Engineering Key Laboratory of Ministry of Transport carries out basic research and applied research in the field of shipping control, providing experimental and scientific research conditions for undertaking major scientific research projects in the field of transportation, solving major problems in shipping technology, and training and organizing of high-level traffic science and technology talents.
