Ding Yi, Shanghai Maritime University Professor/Doctoral supervisor, Part-time doctoral supervisor of the Department of Transportation, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. focusing on the field of port and logistics operation optimization and informatization, he has made significant contributions to the relevant fields in academia and the industry. He has published over 50 core journal papers, including more than 10 in high-impact SCI journals such as INFORMS. He has also authored two academic monographs (as a sole author) and obtained over 30 invention patents and other intellectual property rights. He has presided over a number of national and provincial key projects, and has experience in managing large scientific research and R&D teams. He has presided over a number of intelligent and digital transformation projects of large ports. In the past two years, the research and development and scientific research project funds for the port and shipping logistics system in charge have exceeded 30 million yuan.
The "1+4" digital and intelligent port infrastructure technology has been constructed. The developed port AI, digital twin and big data systems have been applied to port and shipping enterprises such as Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd. and COSCO Shipping Ports, helping to build the Shanghai Port's smart command center and Container truck transportation MaaS1.0 port digital twin platform, and achieving "one network for all management and one network for all services" of the port industry. The "Chinese Solution" for digital twin management and control has helped COSCO Shipping's Qiankai Port in Peru build the first smart port in South America. It has been reported by Guangming Daily, Wenhui Daily, Transportation Power, and Shanghai Observer, among others. At the same time, it contributes to COSCO Shipping Ports' global "carbon peak" strategy.
The related achievements have won the Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the China Ports & Harbours, the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the First Prize for Science and Technology Progress of the China Institute of Navigation, etc.He also promoted the standardization construction in the field of smart port and shipping, and served as the deputy leader of the artificial intelligence Sub-committee of the National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee. He actively promote the integration of industry, academia and research in teaching and laboratory construction, and have established a pilot base for industry-education integration in Shanghai, winning the Special Prize of Shanghai Teaching Achievements
